In-Person Classes

Changing Kids' Relationship with Nature & Stress

Don’t have time for day or overnight camp? We are currently developing a series of in-person camp classes helping kids get into nature — all while empowering them to better manage stress in their everyday lives. There are many ways for kids to find ways to connect with nature and find stress-management techniques they can use for lifelong, personal wellbeing.

Classes will be held at Point of View Camp’s headquarters in Conover, Wisconsin as well as the Walter E. Olson Public Library and the Warehouse Art Center — both in Eagle River, Wisconsin. We are available to travel to other local places and communities in Wisconsin and the Midwest to partner with like-minded nonprofits in hosting these classes as well.

Calming Meditation Classes

Our youth meditation classes aim to meet kids where they are at -- helping them learn calming techniques that work in an everyday, relatable way for them. As a theme, we usually begin class by telling campfire stories to begin meditation exercises, immersing kids in nature even if they are indoors. From there we do meditation activities that best suit the kids' needs.

Classes Connecting Art, Mindfulness, and Nature

Art can be one of the best mindfulness things kids can do! Our youth art classes are a wonderful way to be creative while learning mindfulness techniques that can be used in everyday life.

Learning Active Mindfulness in Nature Classes

Other classes we host teach walking meditation and other active, fun ways for them to explore the beautiful, natural world around them -- whether it be in rural or urban settings.

Entertaining Yoga Classes

Yoga is not only for adults! Our youth yoga classes are FUN and entertaining, using storytelling and nature to engage kids in developing a better mastery of their mind-body connections. Children learn to feel STRONG in their bodies, gaining self confidence and another tool they can use wherever they go.
